PERSONA, self-portraits, 2015 — ongoing
The most intimate method of recognizing the ever changing of the self for me would be the act of self-documenting through photography. Through the lens I can come to terms with myself, anything external or from within I can bring myself to accept, express, and listen the way a faithful friend or a lover would have done with and for me. To understand, that alone is my nominal aspiration, the light-giving beacon thorough my practice of photography. Yet it is nowhere as easy as it sounds: to be understood would require stepping out of the shadow of self-censure to express, but to express so other people will understand you, you have to understand yourself.
